Women's Supremo Cycling Shorts (Black)

I really find the shorts good quality and protective on the buttock bones! They also fit better around my thighs without the tight elastic as in the other cheaper version ... those were just too tight above the knee area. I am glad I purchased the Small instead of the Medium which I fitted on first, which had me feel I wanted to pull it up all the time. The small fit is good, although I think it suits a taller person slightly better: as an indication - when I purchase normal pants like jeans or chino's, eg at Woolworths, I always look for the "mid-rise" instead of the "high-rise". These cycle shorts are probably designed for a slim tall lady, whose body can accommodate the higher rise. For me, it feels like the chamois is sitting a bit low, and because it is rather wide, I am aware of it more. I have other pants by Pearl Izumi (blue chamois on photo), also a small size, which seem shorter, with a slightly narrower chamois and it feels more comfortable. Because I am short, it also means the pants are right up in my waist, rather than just between hips and waistline, where it would feel a little comfier. This is just my personal preference! I trust they will last long. Handwashing in cold water etc!
